Tu B’shvat Seder

All are invited to celebrate the birthday of the trees and the turning of the seasons with a community wide Tu B’Shvat Seder, with participation from our Religious School students.To participate fully in the seder you should have the following items: 

 

  • -A bottle of white grape juice
  • -A bottle of red grape juice 
  • -A fruit or nut with hard, inedible exteriors and soft edible insides (ie bananas, walnuts, pistachios)
  • -A fruit with soft exteriors, but with a hard pit inside, (ie dates, apricots, olives and persimmons)
  • – A fruit that is eaten whole (ie figs and berries)
  • -A spice to smell (cloves, cinnamon)
