Join us as we joyfully complete the reading of the Torah and begin the cycle anew. This year, we are proud to honor Jane Jacobson, Kallat Torah (Bride of the Torah), with the final Aliyah of the Torah cycle, and Howard Gannes, Chatan Bereishit (Groom of Genesis), with the first Aliyah of the new cycle. Honor a Loved One Through Kiddush Oneg Sponsorship
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all who have so generously responded to our Kiddush Fund appeal. Because of the support of our community, we are pleased to report that our budgeted funding is now back on track, ensuring that our Shabbat lunch program continues to be properly sustained.
There are several sponsored lunches scheduled in the coming weeks, and we look forward to sharing these special occasions together with you.
We are also exploring ways to make both sponsorship and contributions to the Kiddush Fund more accessible and convenient for our members, with the goal of maintaining a strong and healthy funding base moving forward. Please watch for additional details in an upcoming Shabbat Bulletin.
Bakers Needed for Kiddush Lunches
Please help us provide delicious treats for our Kiddush lunches. We are asking three volunteers each week to bake 2–3 dozen cookies to supplement the other wonderful desserts being provided. Please use the signup sheet below to select a date. Please bring your cookies to the auxiliary kitchen by Friday at 11:00 a.m. so that Jeff and his staff have time to prepare and plate them. Feel free to ask the office staff if you are unsure where to leave your cookies—they should not be left in the main section of the kitchen due to kashrut considerations. For the safety of all, please clearly label your desserts to indicate whether they contain nuts, dairy, or gluten. Thank you for your generosity and support! Please sign up [here].
