Talks with the Rabbis
In August, our Rabbis will be leading small groups of in-person outdoor get-togethers with learning, discussion and adult refreshments, on the Sukkah patio from 5:30-7pm. We can accommodate a limited number of people at each session, so RSVP through Sign-up Genius is required in advance. Any numbers over the maximum will be put on a wait list. We ask that you register for just one of these sessions.
Beth David COVID rules for on-site outdoor events will be followed. Vaccinations and well-fitting masks are strongly recommended for your safety and those around you, but they are not required. When inside the building, vaccinations and masks are required. As always, these rules are subject to change.

Conservative Movement’s Committee on Jewish Law and Standards

Rabbi Alpert will share her experience as a member of the Conservative Movement’s Committee on Jewish Law and Standards (CJLS). She will focus on the responsa and topics that the committee is trying to parse out in these changing times. You can expect to hear about and discuss hot topics that often don’t have straight forward answers.
