Please join Beth David Israel Action for a unique and special music presentation featuring Spanish/Ladino singer/storyteller Rivka Amado. Dr. Amado will tell the story of Sephardic Jewry through song, along the way sharing the story of the Ladino language, and some beautiful traditional songs from the rich Ladino musical repertoire. AAi is like a complete league of teams who provide different services to the unhoused, so our volunteers really only get one chance annually to celebrate ALL TOGETHER! And this year we have a site that can accommodate over 300 people! There will be fun, games, and a drawing with great prizes. Volunteers and Donors Needed
Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood, and each donation of blood can save up to 3 lives! Join Jews, Christians, and Muslims to assist Red Cross staff, check-in donors, sterilize chairs and tables in donor waiting areas, refill refreshments for donors post-donation, and ensure donors are feeling well before departure. No experience is necessary! American Red Cross staff will train you to accomplish these tasks easily and safely, providing everything you need. Sign-up links to come!
