Congregational Vote & Annual Meeting

Voting Eligibility

All Beth David members over the age of 18 in Good Standing are eligible to vote in the election. Proxy votes are not allowed.
Honorary members and Friends of Beth David do not have voting privileges. However, we welcome your participation in the meeting. Your thoughts and wisdom are a welcome addition to the discussion.

How to Vote

All eligible congregants are strongly encouraged to vote and you do not have to attend the Annual Meeting to vote, but we must have a quorum of at least 10% eligible members to be present in person or over Zoom to conduct business.

We are using an online election system to tabulate our votes. You have been assigned a unique access key which can only be used to vote once. If you start voting but cannot finish, you can come back anytime before the Election ends. Once you complete the ballot, you will not be able to vote again.

  1. Use the link you received via email from invitations@mail.electionbuddy.com. The Access Key is a 19 character code.
    1. Go to https://secure.electionbuddy.com/ballot and enter the Access Key for your personal ballot.
If you lose this code, or can’t find the email, you can call the office and they can look it up for you.
Each member has received their own access code with their name on it either via email or a physical letter.
  2. Paper ballots will be available at the in-person meeting and through the office by arrangement.
