Spice Up Your Meals (Zoom)

Thursday, April 8, 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Susie Fishman discovered a love for spices while visiting the shuk in Israel and has since transformed her kitchen into a spice lab. In this demonstration, Susie will show us how to prepare different spice blends and add pizzaz to our everyday breakfast, lunch and dinner recipes. In addition to teaching a variety of cooking and challah baking classes, Susie works to address food insecurity on college campuses through her for-purpose business, Meet My Kneads. Filo Fun with Susan Murai Raider

Our Mission

Beth David Women‘s activities are planned by an active steering committee that meets either in person or via email monthly.  We welcome anyone who would like to join our discussions or simply email your ideas our way.

Beth David Women typically hosts fundraisers.  Proceeds from these events are used in part to support the needs of the Congregation and Religious School, as well as other charitable causes.

Women’s Shabbat

Each year Beth David Women joins women’s groups around the world in celebrating the founding of Women’s League by leading a special Shabbat Service.  Beth David Women lead the congregation in prayer, chant Torah, and host the Kiddush luncheon following the service.

Steering Committee

Beth David Women‘s activities are planned by an active steering committee that meets either in person or via email monthly.  We welcome anyone who would like to join our discussions or simply email your ideas our way.

 


  • We offer a full array of programs, events and classes throughout the year.
  • We present each B’nai Mitzvah with a Kiddush Cup.
  • We send Torah Fund cards to congregants who experience a life cycle event.
  • We provide flowers  or other decorations for the bima on the high holidays.
  • We hold an annual event to support the Torah Fund Campaign.
Torah Fund

We are proud to participate in the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism Torah Fund Campaign. In addition to an annual Torah Fund event, we sell Torah Fund gift cards and pins. Torah Fund supports the education of Conservative rabbis, cantors, educators and scholars through scholarships and programs at:

  • Jewish Theological Seminary (New York)
  • Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies (Los Angeles)
  • Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies (Jerusalem)
  • Seminario Rabinico Latinoamericano (Buenos Aires)
  • Zacharias Frankel College (Germany)
