Guest Speaker, Aaron Dorfman
We are honored to be welcoming Aaron Dorfman, Vice President for National Programs at American Jewish World Service, to Congregation Beth David during morning services on November 3rd.
Aaron oversees volunteer service, political advocacy, and education and community engagement programs. Prior to serving in this role, Aaron founded and directed AJWS’s education department. He holds a master’s degree in public policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, a B.A. in English literature and political science from the University of Wisconsin, and a certificate from the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem.
Aaron will be speaking at the end of the Torah service (approx. 11am) about the Jewish imperative to address hunger
