  1. (12:1-8) The laws governing a woman’s state of ritual impurity following childbirth.
  2. (13:1-23) Laws regarding tzara’at [skin disease, sometimes (inaccurately) translated as “leprosy”]. If judged by the priest to have this affliction, the person had to be declared unclean and kept quarantined from the community.
  3. (13:24-39) Further laws regarding the affliction of tzara’at.
