The Balk Family Memorial Camp Scholarship Fund offers the gift of Jewish summer camp—where friendships are formed, identities are strengthened, and a lifelong connection to Jewish life can begin.
Created in memory of beloved Beth David members Sheldon and Melvina Balk and their sons, Richard and David Balk, this fund honors their legacy by nurturing the Jewish spirit in our youth, especially those who may feel disconnected or unsure of their place in Jewish life.
Scholarships are not based on merit or achievement, but on the opportunity to inspire and awaken a young person’s Jewish identity.
