Caterers

In order to be on the list, the caterer must be willing to provide:

1. Current Certificate of Liability Insurance, including naming Congregation Beth David as an additional insured for the event. The certificate must also include a 10-day notice of cancellation to Congregation Beth David and evidence of Worker’s Compensation Insurance. The policy must carry at least $1,000,000/$2,000,000 Bodily Injury Liability and $100,000 Property Damage coverages;
2. Copy of Caterer’s California Approved ANSI Food Safety Manager Card; and
3. For all of Caterer’s employees working at Congregation Beth David, copies of their California Approved ANSI Food Handlers Cards.

Additionally, if the caterer does not have a supervised kosher kitchen, all foods must be prepared in the kitchen at Congregation Beth David and must meet the Congregation Beth David Kosher Guidelines.
