
Beginning Hebrew
Have you always wanted to learn Hebrew but didn’t know how to start? Begin here with us at San Jose State University!
Galia Stein-Rosen, seasoned UC Santa Cruz Hebrew instructor, will teach the course online Mondays & Wednesdays 1:30-3:10 pm. You will learn all the basics of Hebrew conversation, how to read and write in Hebrew, while you also study Israeli culture. Gali is happy to work with you, for credit/grade or not. Join us for a lively afternoon featuring Hot Kugel, the musical duo of Suska Varda and Mordecai, performing blues, jazz, lounge, island tunes, sea songs, rock and roll, and Eastern European melodies on a variety of instruments. Paris Chansons – A Spectacular Live Concert of International Music!

Canada College Theatre, 4200 Farm Hill Blvd, Redwood City
The proceeds from this concert will be sent to Israel to support a shelter for abused women and their kids by “Ten Li Yad” organization.
Paris Chansons is an exciting French band with an Eastern European gypsy twist! Their exhilarating performances are punctuated with gypsy jazz standards as well as classics in Russian, Hebrew, Italian, and other languages. Find more information and ticket links here.
