As is our custom at the High Holy Days, we will be holding our annual Food Drive in support of Second Harvest Food Bank. Food Drive aka PROJECT ISAIAH starts on Rosh Hashanah, when bags will be available and culminates with the filled bags being returned at Yom Kippur services. The donated food supports Second Harvest Food Bank for those in need in Santa Clara County.
Second Harvest always welcomes non-perishable canned and boxed goods, and especially needs nutritious foods such as tuna, canned meats, meals in a can (stew, chili, soup), peanut butter, rice, beans, 100% fruit juices in single serving boxes, canned foods with pop-top lids, low sugar cereal, canned fruit packed in its own juice, and low salt canned vegetables. Please avoid donating items packaged in glass, or bulk quantities of rice, flour, or sugar.
Thank you in advance for your support of our local community. L’Shana Tova.
Remember to pick-up your Second Harvest Food Bank Bag on Rosh Hashanah,
fill it,
and return it on Yom Kippur.
