“The Sacred Table: Creating a Jewish Food Ethic”

Rabbi Zamore presents a program discussing the intersection of Judaism and food, exploring the challenges of navigating personal and communal choices about eating. She will discuss “kashrut,” the historic Jewish approach to eating, and will look at the Jewish values that shape our food ethics and choices.

This program is sponsored by the Center for Jewish Life and Learning at the Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center, and the Jewish Studies Program at San José State University.
