Cast a Giant Shadow has engrossing non-stop action, adventure, and a star-studded, Academy Award-winning cast, including Kirk Douglas, Yul Brynner, Angie Dickenson, Senta Berger, John Wayne, Frank Sinatra, and Michael Douglas. Colonel Mickey Marcus (Kirk Douglas), Brooklyn-born Jewish graduate of West Point, helped develop WW II surrender terms for Italy and Germany. A few years later, he volunteered to serve the nascent State of Israel, still under British mandate, as a Haganah advisor. He designed the IDF command and control structure and then commanded the Jerusalem front in 1948 as a Brigadier General. Marcus risked everything to change the course of history.
