Stephen Kinsey will discuss the roles and significance of Jews in the Mother Lode during the California Gold Rush era. He will also discuss the Commission for the Preservation of Pioneer Jewish Cemeteries and Landmarks in the West, which preserves and restores headstones and property of Gold Rush cemeteries. A small donation is requested at this speaker presentation.
