Beginning Hebrew (Alef-Bet) Class
Wednesdays, 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
Learn to read Hebrew and understand its meaning in our Siddur Sim Shalom. Acquire basic Hebrew language skills, beginning with the alphabet, as you learn to read and write Hebrew letters. Build a vocabulary of words used at home and in synagogue. At the end of this course, students will be able to produce simple sentences and read (slowly) from our Siddur Sim Shalom.
Prerequisite: None, but home study needed. Class appropriate for beginners and people wishing to refresh childhood Hebrew.
