Facilities
Responsible for proper maintenance and security of synagogue property; maintains a Facilities Policy subject to the approval of the Board of Directors; maintains an equipment inventory; and recommends to the Board of Directors capital improvements to the property.

Hebrew High
The Hebrew High committee advises and assists the Principal of the Hebrew High School program. To get involved with this committee please contact the Hebrew High Principal.

Information Technology (I.T.)
Responsible for maintaining synagogue I.T. systems and recommending changes and improvements.

Membership
Maintains an accurate membership record containing the names and addresses of each member.
Establishes and maintains a Membership Policy subject to the approval of the Board of Directors; reports membership statistics to the Board of Directors; is charged with obtaining, interviewing and submitting applicants for synagogue membership; establishes outreach programs to recruit new members; maintains programs to conserve membership in the Congregation; establishes and maintains informational materials which describes the Congregation and its services; promotes volunteerism.

Nominating Committee
Is responsible for nominating and acquiring new Board members.

Programming Committee
Coordinates programs which involve multiple committees, organizations or events; coordinates events and acts as a resource for Congregation involvement with the external community.

Religious School Committee
The Religious School committee advises and assists the Principal of the Religious School program. To get involved with this committee please contact the Religious School Principal.

Ritual Committee
The task of the Ritual Committee is to oversee all religious aspects of the synagogue. This includes Bar/Bat Mitzvah training, High Holy Days Services, all other holiday services and Shabbat services. The Committee supervises the High Holy Days Committee, which distributes honors and arranges for leaders of the services at Kehillah K’tanah (the alternate High Holy Day services which take place in the Church of the Ascension). The Committee works closely with the rabbis who also serve on this committee. Members of the Ritual Committee usually possess a wide range of religious knowledge and skills, but knowledge of Hebrew and ritual is not required to join the committee.
