Buy Your Bread and Raise Bread for Beth David...at the Same Time!
Do you purchase groceries every week at Safeway? Do you swipe your Safeway Club card to get the best discounts every time you shop? If so, and if you are registered in the eScrip program, you will be raising money constantly for Congregation Beth David.
What is eScrip? A scrip is a certificate of IOU. An eScrip, therefore, is an electronic scrip that obligates participating retailers to pay designated nonprofit organizations a percentage of cash-register receipts. If you register your Safeway Club card number, for example, in the eScrip program, Safeway, an eScrip participant, will pay a percentage of all your cash-register purchases to Congregation Beth David. If you are not registered, you are leaving Beth David's money on the counter every time you shop. (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, and Chevron are also participants in the eScrip program as well...if you wish to register additional cards.)
This is a zero-effort/zero-cost fundraising program for Congregation Beth David, and the CBD Men's Club is coordinating the entire effort. Fundraising for Beth David has never been easier or more important.
