At Beth David, we believe that we have been given a great treasure: the wisdom and insight of Judaism. So we take every opportunity to learn and to teach. Our formal education programs start at pre-school and go through Hebrew High School to adulthood. Our Shabbat services feature interactive study of the weekly portion rather than sermons. We create opportunities for families to learn together. Our rabbis are always ready to recommend books and resources for individual study. Adult classes, guest speakers, and author talks are offered throughout the year. This web site also provides educational resources. And there are informal experiences for all ages that often have an educational component, like USY, Men’s Club, Sisterhood, Jews Next Dor (young adults) and Hazak (55+)
In sum: we meet you where you are. It has been our joy to help Jewish learners of every age and background to increase their Jewish knowledge and to receive the deep meaning and inspiration that Torah study gives us.
